Thaís Marques

Thaís Marques is an undocumented digital strategist, organizer, trainer and expert on building leaderful volunteer-powered campaigns. Prior to working as a campaign manager for CREDO action, Thaís was the digital lead for Movimiento Cosecha where she experimented with using digital tools and tactics to reach communities of color and immigrants to move them into offline action. Thaís was the national coordinator of the #SanctuaryCampus movement and mobilized over 150 campuses to walk out following the election of Trump. Thaís was also the digital lead for A Day Without Immigrants in 2017 which mobilized hundreds of thousands of people across the country to strike.

Anthony Vidal Torres

Anthony Torres is focused on building political power for movements aimed at deepening democracy while tackling our crisis of climate change, social inequality, and rising authoritarianism. He is the Director of Collaboration at ASO Communications and most recently served as the Communications and Political Director for By the People, the grassroots national campaign to impeach and remove Trump. Immediately prior, he fought for a Green New Deal and transformative international trade policies as the Campaign Strategist for Sierra Club's Living Economy Program. He is a proud unionist, having been a leader of the Progressive Workers Union, and has delivered recommendations to the EPA as a member of their Youth Perspectives on Climate Justice Workgroup. Originally from Long Island, New York and currently living in Brooklyn, Anthony believes our movements must act as a united, cross-class, multiracial front for progressive change and has been named as a Top 50 Fixer by Grist and a Brower Youth Award winner for his efforts toward that goal.

Genai Lewis

Genai Lewis is a trainer, facilitator, and educator with a fire for youth leadership in social movements. Most recently, she was a National Training Coordinator for the Sunrise Movement, a movement to stop the climate crisis and create millions of good paying jobs in the process. Her approach to training and facilitation is informed by her experiences with Stanford University's Life Design Lab and the Human Rights Media Centre in Cape Town, South Africa

Adiel Pollydore

Adiel Pollydore (she/her) is a Guyanese migrant based in Oakland, CA. She is the Program director of Student Action- where she is working with students across the country fighting for Free College for All and the full cancelation of student debt. Prior to this role she spent 4 years as an organizer and later director for I Have A Future- a youth led organization in Boston fighting for full youth employment and an end to youth criminalization. In 2018 she helped lead the effort to win Juvenile expungement and raising the age of juvenile jurisdiction in Massachusetts. She is passionate about education as a tool for liberation and enjoys geeking out about pedagogy. She has worked as a trainer, facilitator and coach for Life Together community, Momentum community and Center for Youth and Community Leadership in Education.

Nicole Carty

Nicole Carty is a movement and strategist, digital organizer, campaigner, and trainer born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Nicole has over a decade of experience studying and supporting movements to further racial, gender, and economic justice. As a movement practitioner in Occupy Wall Street and the Movement for Black Lives, and a strategist and core team member at Momentum, Nicole has spent her career developing her craft regarding what makes movements strategic, impactful, and successful.

She has provided hands-on digital, narrative, and mobilization support for Movement for Black Lives, IfNotNow, Sunrise Movement, By the People, and #NeverAgainAction and others and has worked with a coalition of over 60 movements and organizations to develop a cross movement narrative to shift the masses and articulate a positive vision for the future.

Shawn Sebastian

Shawn Sebastian is the Senior Strategist for Rural People and Planet First Campaigns at People's Action. In 2019 Shawn served as the Iowa Organizing Director of the Working Families Party and Movement Politics Organizer for Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement Action Fund. Shawn was the director of the Fed Up Campaign at the Center for Popular Democracy, organizing working class people of color to demand full employment monetary policy at the Federal Reserve. Shawn is an alum of New York University School of Law, a member of the New York Bar, and was a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School teaching "Law and Organizing for Social Change."
