Our Mission
To tackle inequality at its core we must examine what led us here.
That’s why Project Truth, Reconciliations and Reparations is building a people-powered, intersectional mass movement to surface the origins of our inequalities and dismantle the policies and narratives that keep us divided, and push for reparations that will heal our relationships and our democracy.
Founded by Black women and gender non-conforming people, Project Truth, Reconciliations and Reparations has brought together a diverse, Black and Indigenous-led team of experienced organizers and culture makers from across the Black Freedom, Immigration, Indigenous Rights, LGBTQ+, Feminist, and economic justice movements. Together we will develop an intersectional movement set to launch in 2021 to address the origins of foundational inequalities and harms in our country’s history and build power to realize a reconciled future where everyone counts.
